Otherland is a direct to consumer candle brand based in NYC that launched in 2018. The company experienced rapid growth and acclaim and in Feb 2020 Forbes Magazine stated, “the company has fast replaced Diptyque as the ubiquitous candle du jour”.
Helping a US Candle Maker Lead the Way

Otherland’s glass candle was fragile and heavy, but the needed a way to safely present a set of 3 candles.

The packaging required multiple nested components a tight fit for a well-formed unboxing presentation.

Specs required the use of Mohawk papers with various printing and foiling techniques.
Challenges we conquered
Outcome

We utilized a clean looking, high-cushion bright white hi-density foam to protecting the candles in transit.

We tightened all cut/folding lines tolerances creating sharp lines and component “coordination”.

Working under one roof allowed the Production team to dynamically cross reference each component and immediately integrate any design change.
